Really, ‘Tell me you Love Me’ has proved the fact that title of a show may encourage to watch it. The very same happened with me. When promos of show were being shown on TV, I was very impressed with the title of it. ‘Tell me you Love me’- how much appealing and adorable this sentence is. And, you think yourself, who the hell can take dare to miss such kinda sweet show. At least, I can’t so I was in front of my TV set on the day it was premiered on. In fact, I called up my boy friend and asked him to watch its opening episode.

First episode of ‘Tell me you Love me’ was entitled ‘Episode 1’ and it was aired on September 9, 2007. In this episode, we saw that Katie found Dave in a personal moment and confronted him; Carolyn and Palek faced fertility crisis; Jamie questioned Hugo’s faithfulness. It was a well received episode and was really an enjoyable one. It gave a good start to show.

Series’ plotline was also very fantastic. This very sweet relationship drama dealt with three couples who’re committed towards each other and were facing intimacy troubles. Three couples were very sweet- Jamie and Hugo; Carolyn and Palek and Katie and David. My favorite couple of three was Carolyn and Palek. They’re shown trying to have a kid. Another notable character on series was- Dr. May Foster. She was a therapist and was dealing with her own relationship issues with her mate Arthur.

‘Tell Me You Love Me’ has been cancelled just after the first season. Although it was very much liked by the viewers, but HBO network didn’t decide to renew it. They might have their own issues but we really wanted more of ‘Tell Me You Love Me’. As of now, I’m fulfilling my lust by downloading my favorite episodes from series.

As the DVD got released in the month of February and the show was cancelled in July in the same year, 2008. But each of them got sold within one month. He told me that apart from me many other guys have asked for the same DVD, but the store couldn’t get more copies for them. Everybody knows the reason that controversial things sell like hot cakes.

Now like every that guy, who didn’t get a DVD, I too preferred to look for a site to download it. So finally, I am here. I’ve downloaded the full first season. I just can’t take with the controversies. I don’t know why people just lift up many unimportant things to cloud nine and drop significant things into hell with their criticism. They have done the same with this show at least.

What was so odd about a few romantic scenes and so what if in a bit explicit manner? They can’t admit it as creativity or the factor of realism in acting, but can say thousand of words to prove it a disgrace. Who the heck is in society who can call such necessity of life as unnecessary to explore into. I think everybody has some sort of misconceptions and lack of facts about sexual relationships. What’s bad if a show is discussing about these in an entertaining way, by weaving it within stories of a few couples. Now whether it’s been criticized, or creators don’t find any new direction for the show, but the show was genuinely creative with purity and it deserved to survive.

This weekend I am not in the mood to go out and see anybody. I have decided to stay at home and to catch up with the world. I was surfing on the net a few minutes ago where I happened to clicked on the television news and you would be amused to know what I found on Emmy’s nomination list. ‘Tell me you love me‘. Yes, I found the name of this show there.

Then I looked on its left side and saw the name of Jane Alexander, she has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress. For a moment I was surprised and shocked thinking that perhaps the show has been nominated for the best drama series. The concept of the series is really good and the first episodes were really impressive but after while the story began to drag. The problems faced by the couples are sure enough faced by many couples in real life as well but people watch TV for entertainment, to forget their problems and not to be constantly reminded about them.

It is highly unlikely that anyone would follow the advice given on the series in their real life. It began with a purpose and was quite fast paced, but after a while started meandering, getting into other issues.

Yet there are people who get pleasure in watching the psychological dramas and like to explore the issues like human sexuality, which are not discussed very often. It’s defiantly very educative for them.

It reminds me of my friend, he is very keen to watch this show. Jane has done well in the role portraying the woman struggling to find the answers to her dilemmas. She truly deserves this nomination. I wish her all the very best.

No, I don’t have any information whether season 2 is coming or not. No one knows, yeah, yeah, excluding series creators. Hope they do know. Please let the series come once again.

I think series will be back or it will have to be back as many questions are still unsolved and we fans are looking for answers. Season 2 will resolve all the cliffhangers. I hope they’re aware about it? We all want it to back with more interesting and entertaining episodes. I am really missing the whole cast and crew, especially Jamie. Rumors abound but it’s tough to believe on such rumors.
