Unfortunately, Cynthia Mort, show’s creator announced its cancellation in July 2008. She said she was not finding the right story to continue with the series. Probably, she could have tried a bit more to revive the series for further seasons. After all, Tell Me You Love Me debut season was a successful attempt both popularity wise and financially.
Tell Me You Love Me takes you into the lives of three distinct couples dealing with intimacy issues. The first of these couples comprises of Jamie and Hugo. They are engaged to each other and face difficulties in incorporating a strong bond of trust into their relationship. Another couple, Carolyn and Palek are trying their level best to have a child. Katie and David have a busy life. They have kids and hardly manage any spare time to have sex. To come out of their problems, the couples engage with a psychologist named Dr. May Foster.
Tell Me You Love Me was among the top rated television series of year 2007. It proudly hung on to the third spot. It must have been more than inspiration for Cynthia Mort to come up with additional Tell Me You Love Me seasons. However, we can say no body can control the destiny. Its prestigious star cast comprised of Jane Alexander, Michelle Borth, Tim DeKay, Ally Walker and many more.
