These couples are in committed relationships with family problems. The first couple is Jamie and Hugo; they both are engaged but lack faithfulness towards each other. Carolyn and Palek is the second couple who’re trying to have a baby. Katie and David is the third couple and they already have children, and that’s why it’s very tough for them to find time for Sex. Dr. May Foster is a psychologist and the three couples are in a therapy with her.
Dr. May Foster also has some relationship issues with her partner Arthur. The show is created by Cynthia Mort and Gavin Polone and Vivian Cannon are the executive producers. ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ is produced by HBO in association with Pariah production.
Series got publicity before its premiere because of realistic depiction of sexual scenes. Michelle Borth, whose scenes were the most expressed, said: “We tried to make it as authentic as possible, but we were not having sex.”
